Throughout the game, there are 52 different trophies that can be collected. Some are simple and only require playing through the story or accomplishing simple tasks like defeating Mongols in a Standoff. However, some of the remaining trophies required for Ghost of Tsushima’s Platinum trophy, Living Legend, aren’t as easy to get. Thankfully, this guide covers the 12 hidden trophies and how to earn them.

Hidden Trophies

  1. The Warrior Monk

There are 4 hidden trophies that can be obtained by completing character Tales. This hidden trophy is acquired by completing all 9 of Norio’s Tales. Note that players need to reach Act 3 in Kamiagata before they can finish Norio’s last tale.

  1. The Vengeful Warrior

Masako also has 9 Tales and they must all be completed to get the associated hidden trophy. Similarly, Masako’s last Tale is locked until players reach Kamiagata in Ghost of Tsushima’s Act 3.

  1. The Unbending Warrior

Like the other Tales trophies so far, this next hidden trophy is only acquired after completing all 9 of Ishikawa’s Tales. Once again, the last Ishikawa Tale is unavailable until finding him in Kamiagata during Act 3.

  1. The Headstrong Thief

The 4th Tales hidden trophy requires completing all of Yuna’s Tales. However, there are only 4 Tales and they can all be done during Act 2 in Toyotama.

  1. Witness Protection

The Witness Protection hidden trophy requires shooting an enemy with an arrow once they are terrified. However, players need to upgrade skills or acquire poison darts in Act 2 before they can send foes running. Afterwards, look for a Mongol that’s dropped their weapon or fallen onto the ground and fire the shot.

  1. Have a Nice Fall

This hidden trophy can be acquired by killing an enemy with sufficient fall damage. Jin first has to learn either the Shoulder Charge or Typhoon Kick technique to pull it off. Then find an enemy near some cliffs in the open world like in the mountains. Finally, bait them near the edge and send them falling to their death.

  1. Den of Thieves

Players just need to visit Umugi Cave for this hidden trophy, and the main story will take Jin there eventually.

  1. Honor the Unseen

Perhaps the hardest hidden trophy in the list, players must bow to 10 hidden altars scattered across Tsushima Island. These altars cannot be found on the map and require fully exploring each region to discover.

  1. Lost and Found

Unlocking this hidden trophy requires discovering 1 Pillar of Honor and collecting its sword kit. There are many pillars and players will surely stumble onto one during the story, but there’s an easily accessible one in Kaneda Inlet’s beach in the Izuhara region.

  1. Monochrome Masters

The Monochrome Masters trophy involves buying items from the Black Dye and White Dye merchants. The Black Dye merchant is found in a cave in the Toyotama region southwest of Urashima’s village. The White Dye merchant is located on a mountain in the Izuhara region, west of Wanderer’s Pass.

  1. Cooper Clan Cosplayer

To obtain this hidden trophy, players have to find Gosaku’s Armor, the Crooked Kama Headband, and the Sly Tanuki Swordkit for Jin to wear. Gosaku’s Armor is a reward from the Unbreakable Gosaku Mythic Tale. The Crooked Kama Headband is found within Jogaku Temple in the Kamiagata region. Finally, the Sly Tanuki Swordkit is also located in the Kamiagata region, at a Pillar of Honor in the Kin area’s eastern cliffs.

  1. Dirge of the Fallen Forge

STORY SPOILER WARNING

For the last hidden trophy, Players need to play Lament of the Storm at Taka’s grave near Yarikawa Stronghold in Toyotama. As such, it can only be completed after the Act 2 main story mission where Taka dies. Note that Jin needs to catch 5 Singing Crickets before he learns the Lament of the Storm song.

Ghost of Tsushima is available now for the PS4.
