Previously, all of these bonuses were only available to players that purchased the deluxe edition of Ghost of Tsushima outright (or the Special or Collector’s Edition), but now players with the standard edition can pay a bit more to gain access to these. The upgrade costs $10.99 USD, and gives access to the documentary, a technique point, a Charm of Hachiman’s Favor, and the Hero of Tsushima skin set.

Going this route is technically more expensive than buying the digital deluxe edition, but not by much, and it also gives players with physical copies the chance to gain access to these digital rewards. The technique point will help players early on, but all techniques can be acquired without it. The Charm of Hachiman’s Favor restores player health after each kill, making it useful for those that enjoy head-on combat, but the star of the show is actually the Hero of Tsushima skin set.

The Hero of Tsushima skin set gives players access to a golden face mask, a pretty cool looking set of cosmetic armor, an exclusive sword kit, and the option to choose a gold horse at the beginning of the game. All of this stuff is cosmetic, but it looks pretty awesome.

Ghost of Tsushima is available now exclusively on PS4.
