Besides the standard Ghost of Tsushima game, there will be three versions available. All versions of the game will also come with pre-order bonus content for those that decide to pay ahead of time, including a digital mini soundtrack, a Jin avatar, and a Ghost of Tsushima dynamic theme.

The Digital Deluxe and Special Editions of Ghost of Tsushima will both retail for $69.99 and come with basically the same content. Those that decide to spend a little extra will get a digital art book for the game from Dark Horse, director’s commentary, a samurai PS4 dynamic theme, the Hero of Tsushima skin set, 1 technique point, and the Charm of Hachiman’s Favor. The only difference is that the Special Edition comes with a physical copy of the game inside a special steelbook case.
The Ghost of Tsushima Collector’s Edition is a bit pricier, but it also gives players a bit more bang for their buck. Coming in at $169.99, the Ghost of Tsushima Collector’s Edition comes with all of the content found in the Digital Deluxe and Special Editions of the game, plus a Sakai mask and stand, a physical version of the art book, a cloth map, a Sashimono war banner, and Furoshiki wrapping cloth.
Regardless of which version Ghost of Tsushima fans pick up, the game’s release date is set to ensure a huge three month stretch for the PS4. April is bringing Final Fantasy 7 Remake, The Last of Us 2 is dropping in May, and the Ghost of Tsushima release date is June 26. This is an incredibly impressive three month stretch that will ensure the PS4 goes out with a bang.
In the meantime, it will be interesting to see if rumors of a Ghost of Tsushima PS5 port turn out to be true. If so, one has to wonder if Sony will re-release these special editions of the game or if it will just go with a standard release instead.
Ghost of Tsushima launches on June 26, exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
